This one is for a medium sort of boss battle, where - if you are not prepared - it will be hard, and you may lose. Since this song is a little more techie-sounding, I figured I'd also use it for robotic bosses (In fact, the first time it'd be used is against a renegade remote controlled tank). It's an odd mix of tech and rock, I know, but I think it'd work.

to me this sounds like some one made a remix of a dungeon music a radical boss music and a final boss music

..It is better than your first one. I am somewhat disliking the lack of a prominent melody, which can make it seem unorganised.
However, as the song goes on, I'll admit, it does get better.

Hm, again, kind of a slow-tempoed piece! But this time, the darker-sounding instruments sorta negate any cheeriness that that speed might otherwise bring across. I can definitely imagine hearing this in a battle for some Final Fantasy-type game (especially one of those ones about a dystopian industrial world). I do like the mix of techno and almost otherworldy, haunted-type “spiritual” noises... pretty original and effectively-unnerving combination. :D

Help save the Lost Engines of Roanoke...write the Virginia Museum of Transportation NOW to inform the powers that be that a locomotive's SOUL is even more valuable than the collective sum of the STEEL that contains it...stop the sectioning of the 4-8-0s!

Well, many of the boss tunes - including this one - are remixes of other songs in the game. I figure it'd be cool to have the boss' music me a version of their dungeon music.

Well, if you knew the origin of this song, you'd see where the lack of melody came from. Originally it was an 8-bit tune, which used repetitive, simple melodies that'd work with the same chord - like 4 overlapping short tunes.

Personally, I don't find these too slow... I even find many other RPG battle pieces to be TOO sped up or intense - like they're trying too hard.
Unnerving is definitely one feeling I wanted to convey - though, really, I'd not think of this as Final Fantasy-like, except for the choir, perhaps. That wasn't even originally planned - though, I seem to like the use of choirs, to make something more epic or important sounding - which may be overdoing it here, but still. I was thinking that most of the uses of this song will be for robotic or industrial bosses. And thanks for the comment!
